The writing process, what can I say. Sometimes you think you are close to being finished and
another draft creeps up out of no where.
Two of a Kind
I'm on Chapter Six, sitting at a little over 26k words of what I thought was the final draft. Yet, my characters are screaming at me that the story still needs some work. When I'm done this draft, I will be editing, and doing one more re-write of the story. It will put me a little behind schedule, but I want the story to not only make sense but be worth the read.
Dark Jealousy
My delay in finishing Two of a Kind, puts my plans of working on Dark Jealousy off. As much as I would like to get back to writing it, my characters in Two of a Kind, want attention. I won't be able to return to Dark Jealousy, until the romance is completed.
Raging Inferno
The third and maybe final book for Sheriff Dawson, will be called Raging Inferno. Though this book is in the beginning stages and I don't even have an outline for it yet, I do know that this book will be centered around the Great Fire of Saint John, NB. I hope to start Raging Inferno sometime this year, but it all depends on when I finish Two of a Kind and Dark Jealousy. The fact that I need to do one more draft for Two of a Kind sets me back, but I should be done it by February at least that's what I'm hoping for.
Content Bucket and Promo for Guilty Deceptions
I have been doing my best to stick with the content bucket I have created for Twitter. I have been lacking the last few days with my content bucket for TikTok, but I did manage to upload a video today.
I've still been promoting Guilty Deceptions on Twitter and Facebook. It still remains for the most part unread but that's not going to discourage me. I know it's an undiscovered gem, and when the right people find it the book will take off.
Until then, I'm going to keep promoting it, and with any luck I'll not only get reads, but reviews as well.
